Run by co-owner Chance Versoza (who's one year out of high school), Medijuana4u is a perfectly power-washed beige home with very high aspirations, right across the street from Fubonn Shopping Center. It somehow nabbed the name the 420 Store and boasts a parking lot to rival the neighboring Starbucks'. But inside, you basically walk into Versoza's living room—a suburbanite lobby where kids who look like his siblings pet the house cat and watch Cops from two corduroy couches by a fireplace. What used to be a bedroom is now a cork-lined display room with a case of modest honey sticks, topicals and concentrates. Only a dozen, mostly empty, bud jars sit on Versoza's sparse shelves thanks to a busy summer season and the current shortage. But with a bigger fridge for edibles in the mail and "recreational" already added to its light-up signage on 82nd Avenue, this family affair is ready to grow.
