The warehouse-turned-brewery is a great concept (and a recurring one in Portland) in theory, if not always in practice. The overall atmosphere at Amnesia seems a bit lazy, but in the end it's all about the beers, and this brewpub has plenty of those. Outside, there are sausages and burgers on the grill, including the vegetarian variety. The brewery is behind the bar and customers can get their beer to go.
What to drink: The Desolation IPA or the more popular Copacetic IPA.
Happy hour: $3.25 pints, $12 pitchers; all day Monday, 4-6 pm Tuesday-Friday.
Entertainment: Outdoor barbecue, dogs.
