The Commons Urban Farmhouse Slays Competition in New Seasons Contest

WW's 2013 Beer of the Year rolls on the East Side, but here's what other neighborhoods liked.

Mike Wright, The Commons

The Commons' Urban Farmhouse—our Beer of the Year back in 2013—is apparently very popular with New Seasons' customers.

The saison won a month-long competition at 13 area grocery stores, being picked as the favorite in all four stores in Portland's urban eastside—stores in Concordia, Hawthorne, Division Street at Seven Corners and Arbor Lodge.

There are a few other interesting things about the results: three different types of Kölsch won while only two IPAs won.

Also interesting among the results: Raleigh Hills is weird.

Below is what won in various stores.
