New York Times Chronicles Former Oregon Man's Alleged Murder-For-Hire Plots in North Dakota Oil Saga

The North Dakota oil production boom has a dark side, and a former Oregon resident named James Henrikson is right in the middle of it.

Henrickson is accused of plotting the murders of two associates and engaging in a tangled web of corrupt dealings with Tex Hall, the longtime tribal leader on the state's Fort Berthold Reservation.
