Cheap Eats 2005

This deceptively small doorway opens onto a vast, brick-walled space made elegant with Persian lamps and a sleek copper-topped bar. Cheap-eats seekers should head straight to the back of the room for the Mediterranean lunch buffet ($6.95); it's loaded with plentiful vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as juicy chicken, lamb and beef. The entrees ($12-$14) are large and filling. Don't skip dessert! After hours, the restaurant becomes a nightclub (read: dress code, $5 cover after 11 pm). (BO)
