Cheap Eats 2010

Beaverton's Nak Won serves beer, wine and all the Korean classics: bibimbap ($9), marinated, thinly sliced meats ($12-$13), and really good banchan, including monkfish gelatin and fish-cake strips. Nak Won has plenty of seafood, from whole salted Atka mackerel to yellow croaker. The seafood pancake ($10) is savory and slightly custardy and loaded with chopped squid, mussels and fish. The nicely designed, simple dining room is often packed and underserviced, but be patient; the food is fantastic.
