The Auteur
The inspiration: What happens when the world’s greatest hardcore porn director comes to Portland to receive a lifetime achievement award? Cum shots and comedy, of course. Directed by James Westby (Film Geek) and shot locally, The Auteur and its “bunch of degenerates” were well-received at the movie’s premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Here, director Westby and two of his stars–Viva Las Vegas and Malice–re-create the tony tone of the film with sheer high-end lingerie and Euro-cut men’s tailoring.
Release date: Portland premiere Dec. 5 at Cinema 21.

The fashion: On Viva (left), Lily teddy by Araks, $225;
On Malice (right), Gatsby gown by Sarah Wizemann, $250, and Chantilly slip by Sabrina Nadal, $175; all from Lille Boutique, 1007 E Burnside St., 232-0333, lilleboutique.com.
On James Westby: Collier 100-percent wool suit, $750; Royalist dress shirt, $185; Ateseta silk tie, $75; Collier, 340 SW Morrison St., 224-5473. Shoes, Chuck Taylor All Stars, Westby’s own.
