Environmental reporting: Jaquiss for "Corndoggle"

In the category (PDF) of alternative news weeklies for the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Montana):

Special section: Ben Waterhouse of WW for "Restaurant Guide 2009"

Page design: WW staff

Graphics and illustration: WW freelancer Hawk Krall for Devour 2009. (Scroll down to check out the amazing cover image he created for us).

Crime and justice reporting: James Pitkin for "To Catch a Stoner"

Education reporting: Beth Slovic for "Left Out"

Sadly, there was no opportunity for acceptance speeches like this one.
