Urban Farm Store

Urban Farm Store—southeast Portland's source for feed and seed, and things needing feed and seed—just moved to a new location. Besides a lot more room for chickens and all their accouterments, Retail Therapist found many items of interest there today. For one thing, UFS is not just your one-stop adorable baby chick shop. They also have a well-edited selection of gardening supplies, beer making equipment, cheese making equipment, how-to books on both of those subjects, chicken coop building kits (pictured above, $178), and more.

RT likes these classic watering cans. The green one is $32.95; the zinc one is $29.95. Lest you balk at that price, RT bought a cheaper model from the gardening department at a certain Swedish big-box store—and it leaks! Urban Farm Store, 2100 SE Belmont Ave., (503) 234-7733.
