When
Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 am this Sunday, we get an extra hour of sleep—perhaps a good thing in
Oregon since we're also getting an extra hour of bar service.
For those already mapping out their weekends, the
Oregon Liquor Control Commission helpfully points out this afternoon that places serving alcohol until 2 am or 2:30 am will get to prolong their last call in the wee hours Sunday by an hour when they set their clocks back.
And just a friendly reminder, if you spend that extra hour throwing back
Irish car bombs, don't drive .
