Gov. John Kitzhaber has been raising money (a quarter of a million dollars so far) like a candidate for re-election in 2014. But the three-term governor has taken a surprisingly long time to announce his plans for next year.
Kitzhaber will announce his decision—he's running, people familiar with his plans tell WW—at a Monday morning press conference in East Portland.
Here are the details:
On Monday, December 9, Governor John Kitzhaber will hold a press conference at Earl Boyles Elementary School. He will discuss his plans for the coming year, as well as the progress he has made on economic development, alignment of education from Pre-K through college and reform of the health care system.
