Storm Large's single "8 Miles Wide" from her one-woman show, Crazy Enough (playing through Aug. 16 at Portland Center Stage) is the year's best anthem, popping up in impromptu choruses wherever you find actors or Storm fans or Rick Emerson. Now the video, directed by Film Geek and The Auteur director James Westby, is out. It's a who's who of Portland pseudocelebrity—who's that in the bear suit, and why is Emerson so fixated on chanting "vagina," and, whoah, what's with the contortionist?—and makes slightly more sense than The Builders and the Butchers' new video.
