Pixie Project Puts the Spotlight on Pets

Tags: Animals

Hey everyone, it's puppies! Cute, cute, puppies! Anthropomorphized, sweater-wearing, smack-talking, puppies, filmed and voiced by local Portland talent!

What, you want a good cause too? You got it! The Pixie Project is a non-profit animal adoption center and pet supply store (and a 2008 Give!Guide-certified donation-worthy outfit). They've teamed up with local filmmaker Karl Lind of In The Can Productions to create short, adorable films of The Pixie Project's Featured pet of the week.

Each week, a new pet waiting for its forever home will be given a chance to let its personality shine in these “video biographies.” Their first film features Burrito, a spunky Chihuahua with white hair and a tail that won't stop wagging. Arriba, arriba, says Burrito, come adopt me! Just try to resist the cutie. I double dog dare you.
