Given that Portland fell in love with the President Elect (aaahh...) long before much of the rest of the country, turning out in vast numbers to sing his praises way back in May, it comes as no surprise that the army of local Obamaniacs find themselves succumbing to a terrible post-election malaise:

Jim Martin is headed for a runoff with incumbent Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss, who led the Democratic hopeful by just 2.8 percent last Tuesday, and Obama is sending aides to help his party win a 58th Senate seat.
