Bummer: KPOJ's Christine Alexander Is Leaving

One of the favorite parts of my week is when KPOJ is nice enough to have me on air just after 8 am with Carl Wolfson and Christine Alexander every Wednesday morning.

We talk about the edition of WW that's just hit the streets and in the process, I've come to genuinely enjoy Carl and Christine as smart and funny people.

So it's with real sadness that I learn this morning that Christine is leaving the show after two years. But her reasons are good. As Christine—who recently had a bout with breast cancer—puts it, "Long story short—I have decided to work to live, not live to work. I am moving on to concentrate on myself and the ones I love, rather than the ones I don't. John Boehner and Mitch McConnell come to mind."

Dunno about Boehner and McConnell. But I'll miss you. And I know your listeners will as well.
