"Suicide Squad" Fans Want to Shut Down Rotten Tomatoes—and We're Partially Responsible

It wasn't a good movie.

A petition has surfaced out of Alexandria, Egypt to shut down Rotten Tomatoes because of the bad reviews critics on the site give to DC Extended Universe films.

The petition, by an account called Abdullah Coldwater, reads:

"We need this site to be shut down because It's Critics always give The DC Extended Universe movies unjust Bad Reviews, Like

1- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016

2- Suicide Squad 2016

and that Affects people's opinion even if it's a really great movies"

Suicide Squad had an advanced screening last night, which brought their Rotten Tomatoes "Tomatometer" at only 31 percent, based on 113 reviews. Yikes. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016 has a 27 percent rating.

Coldwater says they know the petition won't shut down the site, writing "A petition definitely won't shut down the site. The aim of the petition is to deliver a message to the critics that there is a lot of people disagree with their reviews."

One of these reviews comes from WW's own Matthew Singer.

So far, the petition has 17,275 supporters. They're aiming for 25,000.

Sorry, Abdullah. The movie just wasn't good.
