Happy Birthday America!

Well, almost. Rest assured,  Portland is sure to go crazy with flammable objects tomorrow night. For those looking to stay away from burned limbs and bottle rocket fights, we've compiled a list of the best events and places to watch fireworks in Rose City.

Stay safe out there, everyone.

July 4 w/the Portland Pickles

(Hilary Sander)

The Pickles will celebrate America's favorite slow-moving sport on the 4th with a doubleheader against the Medford Rouges and the Perth Heat, an all-star team from Australia. Yeah, it turns out that America's birthday party is so lit folks will travel thousands of miles just to join in. Fireworks will cap off the baseball extravaganza, and tickets are pretty cheap, so get 'em while you can. Walker Stadium, SE 92nd Ave, 1:05 p.m. (first game), 7:00 (second game), $5-10, (503) 775-3080, portlandpicklesbaseball.com

Heartbeat Silent Disco

Wanna get groovy on a bridge? Heartbeat Silent Sound Systems will host a silent disco on Tilikum Bridge, complete with free headphones and a full view of a fireworks display. DJ ĐÅR and TAKIMBA will be supplying music, and the event is family-friendly. If there was ever a time to properly embarrass your children with your patented college dance move, it's now. Tilikum Crossing, 6:45 p.m., $7 per pair of headphones, heartbeatsoundsystems.com

Il Terrazzo

Nothing compliments skyward explosives like a glass of wine. Riverplace restaurant Il Terrazzo plans to host its second annual 4th of July event on Tuesday, complete with a spot in the restaurant's burger and beer garden for $20. An additional $30 will get you outdoor seating overlooking the Marina, with a bottle of red wine and antipasti misti. Watching fireworks has officially gone cosmopolitan. 0315 SW Montgomery Street, Suite 340, 12 p.m., $20-50, (971) 302-6691, ilterrazzopdx.com

Waterfront Blues Festival

The annual Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and will cap off a long weekend with the "largest fireworks display in Oregon." 22 minutes of fireworks sounds rad, right? How about 22 minutes of fireworks with a blues-y soundtrack? And it only costs 10 bucks! Go America! waterfrontbluesfest.com

Oaks Park

(Henry Cromett)

Oaks Amusement Park is getting in on the patriotic action and leaving their rides open until midnight tomorrow. The park will also host summer BBQ in its picnic areas—all of them are free—along with live entertainment from local performers. A fireworks display will cap it all off at dusk. Sure, there's no alcohol allowed, but it's a great place to take the whole family. 7805 SE Oaks Park Way, 10 a.m., $3-6, (503) 233-5777, oakspark.com.

Bunk Bar

(Hilary Sander)

Portland's go-to establishment for chic sandwiches is throwing an Independence Day beach bash. There'll be frozen margaritas, games, pools for the kids, and yes, sandwiches. Expect an awesome view of the city's fireworks. 1028 SE Water Ave, 2 p.m., drop-in, (503) 328-2865, bunksandwiches.com/bunkbar

Clarklewis

Need a little upscale dining to go with the evening's giant explosions? Clarklewis has got you covered with a three-course meal, followed by a gathering in the parking lot during the fireworks themselves. It's an expensive evening, but don't skimp out on lawn chairs—a necessity for a proper firework experience. 1001 SE Water St, 5-10 p.m., $55, reservations needed, (503) 235-2294, clarklewispdx.com

Three Degrees

More options for riverfront firework viewing come from Three Degrees on SW Harbor Way. They're offering cuisine planted firmly in the U.S., including a barbeque buffet with pork ribs. Chow down on an American meal—BBQ sauce guaranteed—while viewing fireworks from the riverside terrace. 1510 SW Harbor Way, 7 p.m., $65-110, reservations needed, (503) 423-3104, threedegreesportland.com

Altabira

Yet another riverfront restaurant offering a unique 'Merican experience for Independence Day fireworks. Altabira's put together a three-course meal in which to divulge, including a peach cobbler. Seriously, peach cobbler. If you don't dig that, you're not American. 1021 NE Grand Ave, 7 p.m., $65, reservations needed, (503) 963-3600, altabira.com
