Here Are the Best Portland Patio Bars That Are Also Pokéstops

Have you been enjoying summer nights on the patio? Your favorite patio bar might be also a Poké stop!

Two things have got people excited to be outside during the evenings this summer: Pokémon Go and patio bars. Earlier this year, we released a list of our favorite patio bars around Portland. Now that Pokémon Go has exploded into town we checked back in to see where you can stock up on both alcohol and poké balls while you lounge around on a crisp summer night.

These are the best places to drink great beers and farm the nearest Poké Stops for poké balls and eggs.

Double Dragon

1216 SE Division St, 503-273-9227, Monday-Sunday 11:30 am-2:30 am.

Double Dragon is a Poké Stop! You can farm poké balls for as long as you can drink.

Apex

1235 SE Division St, 503-203-8340, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 12 pm-12 am, Friday and Saturday 12 pm-1 am.

Better yet, Apex, the huge beer patio across the street, is a Pokémon Gym. If you get enough liquid confidence at Double Dragon, maybe you'll have the guts to take on the challenge.

Night Light Lounge

2100 SE Clinton St, 503-731-6500, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 2 pm-2:30 am, Saturday and Sunday 10 am- 2:30 am.

Night Light Lounge may not be a Poké Stop. But, if you are hanging out on their patio, the Fifty Licks ice cream shop across the street has all your Poké Stop needs.

Directly across the street from this breezy patio bar is a collection of tiny houses and camper trailers. While this lot serves as the Caravan Tiny House Hotel, it is also a Poké Stop. Walk over from the pub on a Wednesday evening and enjoy Caravan's Songs and S'mores Campfire evenings.

Momo's

725 SW 10th Ave, 503-478-9600, Monday-Sunday 3 pm-2:30 am.

The area around Momo's, near the central library, is surprisingly void of Poké Stops for how central the location is. But, the Montbell Bear (who some may remember as a victim of vest theft) serves as a reachable Poké Stop from the patio of this bar.
