There's a lot to celebrate this week in Portland.

Two of the area’s popular neighborhood beer spots become toddlers this week, celebrating two full years in business with special pours and shenanigans all weekend long. In addition, eager drinkers can check out a longstanding annual fest in Hillsboro, as well as taste rare Swiss sours and a whole slew of gluten-free pours.

Loyal Legion Turns Two

The 100-tap Southeast Portland beer hall celebrates two years in business with a weekend of festivities, including $2 pours of Breakside Pilsner, and a whole swath of drink specials and prize giveaways through Sunday. Montavilla Brew Works Second Anniversary

Montavilla’s beloved neighborhood brewery caps off 730 days in business with a four special days of pours. New beers will be hitting the taps throughout Friday and Saturday, joined by tacos from Mixteca, and the place will be absolutely overrun with swag giveaways. Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Brewfest

Twenty beers and 20 ciders hit the taps at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse’s annual brewfest, a tradition which will see westside beer drinkers and McMenamin’s passport holders out in droves. Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, 4045 NW Cornelius Pass Rd, Hillsboro. 12-9 pm. Free.

Gluten Free Breweries Night

Portland’s most-acclaimed gluten free brewery celebrates Oregon Beer Month with a special night highlighting barley-free beer, featuring house-made pours, alongside options from Bierly and Moonshrimp Brewing. Ground Breaker Brewing, 2030 SE 7th Ave. 5 pm. Free.

An Evening with Trois Dames

Sainte-Croix, Switzerland-based Trois Dames brewing brings a slew of rare barrel-aged projects to the taps of The Upper Lip this Tuesday, sharing six of its sought-after beers with thirsty Northwest palates. The Upper Lip, 720 SW Ankeny St. 4 pm. Free.
