What The Festival Announces 2016 Lineup

Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, Claude VonStroke and a lot of other DJs are heading to Dufur in June.

Oh, damn! Thievery Corporation? Claude VonStroke? Mr. Carmack?! This is gonna be so sick, bro!

OK, I'm probably not the best person to appraise this year's What The Festival lineup. All I can really tell you is that electronic music's version of Pickathon has grown in prominence each year, and the fact that I at least recognize a good deal of these names must mean it's going to be…well, pretty sick, bro.

So anyway, here's your What The Festival lineup. As always, the festival takes place in Dufur, Oregon, June 17-20. Get tickets here.

Matthew Singer

A native Southern Californian, former Arts & Culture Editor Matthew Singer ruined Portland by coming here in 2008. He is an advocate for the canonization of the Fishbone and Oingo Boingo discographies, believes pro-wrestling is a serious art form and roots for the Lakers. Fortunately, he left Portland for Tucson, Arizona, in 2021.

Willamette Week’s reporting has concrete impacts that change laws, force action from civic leaders, and drive compromised politicians from public office.
