Damian Lillard Announces His First Official Concert

The full-time Blazers guard and part-time rapper will celebrate his birthday by performing at the Crystal Ballroom on July 15.

Free agency hasn't gone so well for the Blazers, but Damian Lillard just gave Portland rap fans something to look forward to.

Lillard—Dame DOLLA if you're nasty—has announced the details of his first-ever, full-fledged concert.

It'll happen at the Crystal Ballroom on July 15, which also happens to be the point guard's 26th birthday.

As most NBA fans know by now, Lillard takes rapping very seriously. He started his weekly 4 Bar Friday Instagram rap battle after getting drafted in 2012. He uploads new tracks to SoundCloud frequently during the offseason, and there's even been rumors that he's drawn interest from major labels. Although he's calling this upcoming show his "first performance in Portland," Lillard made his onstage debut last summer at Holocene, spitting a verse during a set by his cousin, Brookefield Duece.
