Here's What Tina Kotek Just Told Angry Democrats About Hillary Clinton

She's with her.

As the Democratic National Convention opened in Philadelphia with loud boos from supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.), Oregon House Speaker Tina Kotek tried to make peace—with a speech arguing that presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton would champion progressive policies.

"Just like Hillary," Kotek said today, "Oregon Democrats—and Democratic state legislators across the country—are proud to stand up for the hard working people we represent. We've been leading the country by advancing progressive policies that level the playing field and create an economy that works for ALL Americans."
