Creepy clowns are continuing to terrorize the country. Today, Portland saw its second creepy clown disturbance.

Police arrested 55-year-old Daniel Dahlman at Floyd Light Middle School on 10800 SE Washington St. this morning after receiving a report that a man in a clown mask "was chasing kids and trying to fight an adult male."

Police say the man was outside the school, wearing a clown mask and boxing gloves, and was boxing towards the students. When the Assistant Principal went outside to speak to the man, he threatened the Assistant Principal with physical violence and charged at him.

Officers say the clown then ran towards a nearby mobile home park, where they found him inside one of the homes. Police say he walked his grandkids to the school bus stop wearing the outfit before the incident outside the school.

Yesterday, Portland Public School released a statement regarding the clown threats.

"This is a social media generated rumor about individuals dressed as clowns coming to local schools to harm students," the release says. "We are working with our partners at Portland Police Bureau to monitor this issue. They have not received information to suggest that there is a credible threat in Portland, but are emphasizing that criminal activity or actual threats should be reported to 9-1-1."

This marks the second clown attack in Portland. Last month, a woman reported that a man dressed in a silver clown mask came up to her car and started banging on the window.
