Mississippi Studios’ crazy opening week

Tags:

Night One, Wednesday, March 4
A free show with troub-scene stalwarts Weinland, the poppy Dimes and Portland legends like Pete Krebs and Lewi Longmire gets us a little excited.

Night Two, Thursday, March 5
Blind Pilot’s current trajectory should have it playing stadiums by summer. Good get.

Night Three, Friday, March 6
Portland Cello Project looks to be the house cello project at Mississippi Studios, and tonight it performs with Thao, Storm Large and other regional heavyweights.

Night Four, Saturday, March 7
More cello, with the creepy pop of Tu Fawning, more Thao, a side of Portland soul diva Tahoe Jackson and an extra serving of Weinland’s Adam Shearer.

Night Five, Sunday, March 8
A ton more cello in the afternoon; Matt Sheehy and Y La Bamba at night. We’re completely exhausted just thinking about all these shows.

For complete schedule, see Music Calendar or Mississippi Studios.
