But even first timers can appreciate Mio's reliable classics, from hearty miso soup ($1) to the plump Oregon rolls, stuffed with crab and asparagus and draped with salmon ($7.75). On a recent lunch visit, a grilled yakiniku dish delivered a hot helping of sesame-seasoned beef decorated with ample mounds of rice and green salad ($7.95). At lunchtime, bento combinations pack favorites-from plump gyoza and California or veggie rolls to tofu and teriyaki-into action-packed parcels ($8.50-$10.95). Now that's a real lunch box. (EF)
