China and Vietnam may be historic Asian rivals, but their cuisines meet for a happy rapprochement at this restaurant in a Hollywood District strip mall. The combination appetizer platter ($9.50) of barbecue pork, spring rolls, fried shrimp and won tons plus pot stickers is a guilty-pleasure plate of fried delights. Pho, the ubiquitous beef noodle soup, is a lighter option ($6.75), but a warm comfort. As for the entrees, try the garlic shrimp stir-fry ($9.50), which packs a peppery punch, or the sizzling platters of seafood or chicken ($9.50).
