Cheap Eats 2009

“Mmmooohhgaaasweetjesus!” That’s a rough approximation of the sound your body will make after a single bite of a dessert from Pix Pâtisserie. Seriously, it’s like a loop of the When Harry Met Sally diner scene in there. Blame it on the orgasmic crème brûlée ($6 for an individual serving), Big Cheryl’s moist, miscellaneous berry-filled “ghetto” cake ($6.50), or any of the dozens of other luscious pastries and chocolates. We suspect most of the premature exclamations are caused by the tart ménage-à-trois ($6), for obvious reasons.
