Restaurant Guide 2005

Perfectly crispy tempura, a miso soup with surprising depth—and that's just the appetizers. While Sinju's large dining room features oodles of ornate dividers to give diners multiple opportunities for a private experience—or, for parties of at least five, a private, swanky tatami-mat room—pull up to the oversized sushi bar to watch the veteran chefs whip up their signature rolls. While diners have plenty of opportunities to sample traditional entrees like a flavorful, saucy chicken teriyaki, it's standouts like the Russian roll, stuffed with smoked salmon and topped with cucumber and super-white tuna that make Sinju a real sushi lover's paradise.
