Many restaurants go to great lengths to prove they are the most authentic, but Chilango's taqueria could easily be found on a street in Mexico City ("chilango" is slang for the residents of D.F.). Half grocery, half restaurant, Chilango's serves up delicious on-the-spot burritos, tacos, quesadillas, rellenos and enchiladas while Spanish-language TV keeps you company. You can't beat Chilango's $4.50 burrito, which is chock full of fresh cheese and your choice of meats, from pork to steak to lengua (tongue), all folded into the shop's unbelievable housemade tortillas.
