Don't make the mistake of judging the food by the looks of Chilango's shabby dining room. Just take it as an indication the owners have kept their prices low by not hiring a fancy design firm, and order your food to go. Tacos ($1.50-$1.75) come in myriad tasty flavors, including distinctively chewy suadero (pork belly) and tender pollo (chicken), and three could easily make a meal. Don't overlook the toothsome bargain gordita ($3), a crispy shell of tortilla generously filled with chicken, avocado, lettuce and cheese. Burritos ($4.25) are overstuffed any way you like, and the enchilada plate ($7.50) is smothered in a delicious mild red chile sauce. Que bueno. (DS)
