This Sandy Boulevard hole in the wall is so small you can see the cleaver pounding the meat and hear it above the din of a busy Friday-night takeout crowd getting its orders shouted by the cashier. The result of all that pounding? Tender servings of chicken for the succulent grilled chicken ($6.90), and beef ($7.90) teriyaki with a smoky and tangy sweetness. The accompanying iceberg lettuce salad is a harmless but unnecessary touch. If you're a vegetarian, the tofu bowl with carrots and broccoli ($6.50) is a worthwhile option.
