[VEGAN SCONES] Located in Portland’s only vegan mini-mall, Sweetpea has a fully vegan sweet-and-savory bakery case, as well as a sit-down-and-stay-awhile cafe serving breakfast, lunch and then some. It’s a low-key neighborhood hangout with folks eating toasted bagels and vegan spread, and plenty of Stumptown coffee and Townshend’s tea to keep everyone hydrated and caffeinated. Sweetpea wholesales everything from its vegan scones and breads to sweets, but you can get Sweetpea sandwiches and soups only in-house.
Grocery list: Ten-dollar$10 all-you-can-eat vegan brunch buffet Sunday, vegan doughnut day Saturday, vegan cheesecake.
