Drink 2010

Sometimes a little love makes a hole in the wall seem like so much more. Tiga—a dark and candlelit Northeast Portland haunt that much of the music community calls home—is one of those love-holes. The U-shaped room adds up to more than the sum of its couches, chairs and small tables. It's more than the oft-goofy local art hanging on the walls or the vinyl-junkie DJs that spin each night. Tiga, oh womblike and romantic Tiga, you just always feel like home. Please don't let the douchebags read this and ruin everything.
What to drink: A $5 glass of the house red always feels right to me.
Happy hour: Various drink specials 5-8 pm nightly.
Entertainment: DJs, the occasional neighborhood cat.
