Bar Guide 2015: The Lost and Found

5426 N Gay Ave., 477-7313, lostandfoundpdx.com. 3 pm-midnight Sunday-Thursday, 3 pm-2 am Friday-Saturday.

Formerly a tchotchke shop serving beer and wine, the Lost and Found didn't just reverse past priorities—this is above all else a neighborhood bar offering Overlook residents a cozily nested hideaway to unwind after work and watch the game—but neither has the space entirely abandoned life's more fanciful curiosities. Menus hawk Mexi-trending dorm faves (street tacos, Frito pie, a half-dozen quesadillas) and drink specials heavily spiked with whimsy (each of the Golden Girls represented by her own champagne cocktail, save Dorothy's michelada). Lamps made from vintage suitcases hang across from a trunk-sized slice of faux-old growth styrofoam perched above the bar. A sweeping patio deck shades lingering summer vacations, and the slew of teensy tables strewn about lustrous cobalt interiors provides adorable vantage to report all that you've learned.

Happy hour: 3-7 pm Monday-Friday. $1 off craft beers and well cocktails.
