KPTV ...for its 24/7 coverage of a 15-minute story...
Last week's storm brought lots of weather-related nominations for Rogue of the Week: TriMet (for its inability to keep the trains running), Mayor Vera Katz (for--gasp!--asking city employees to show up for work) and KPTV (for its 24/7 coverage of a 15-minute story).

The closest we came to finding real roguery, however, was up in the Northwest Hills, where the constant whining from the five homesteads on Royal Boulevard resulted in a visit from one of the city's few plow-equipped dump-trucks, which got stuck and was out of service for nine hours.

But generally, we here at the Rogue Desk had a blast, watching our colleagues arrive by ski, skate, snowshoe and, in the case of intern Joel Smith, red plastic saucer!

So rather than point a finger in blame, we've offered up a brief quiz to celebrate last week's white-out, compiled by intern Adina Lepp: (SPOILER ALERT: This quiz contains the answers)

Match the number with the fun snow fact:0

A. TriMet bus routes detoured last Wednesday. 48

B. Hours that the Portland Streetcar was shut down. 74

C. Millions of dollars Oregon spends annually on roads damaged by studded tires. 11

D. TriMet bus routes canceled last Thursday. 8

E. Number of city- owned snow plows in Seattle. 20

F. Number of Jiggles' 10 strippers who made it to work last Thursday. 7

G. Number of city- owned snow plows in Sacramento. 0

H. Number of city- owned snow plows in Portland. 54

I. Hours of regular pro- gramming aired by KPTV during first three days. 3

J. TriMet bus routes detoured as of Monday, Jan. 12. 1

When you cover a story...don't you think you should show a picture that relates to the story?Instead you show a picture of a Fox 47 News background, a station that is no where close to Portalnd. Real smart!—Lee
