How green is Portland?

OK, so Portland is the most sustainable city in the country. While that's a reason to celebrate, it's a safe bet a majority of Portland residents take credit without really thinking about what it means to be green.

For fun, we took a look at some of the categories, and collected data to see how we stack up against our northerly neighbor Seattle, New York City and, for fun, Houston, often thought to be the gas-guzzlin'est place on the planet.
