The inspiration:Based on the first book in author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series of teen novels, Twilight sinks its teeth into the tale of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her hot teen vampire boyfriend, the 100-year-old Edward (Robert Pattinson). Devoured by rabid fans both young and old (TwilightMOMs, anyone? See “Mommie Fiercest,” WW, April 30, 2008), director Catherine Hardwicke’s romantic-horror chick flick–which was shot in and around Portland–is one of the most anticipated movies this year. Moody teen angst plays nice with this fall’s dark-hued fashion vibe.

thanks. I am curious where the twilight fans are talking about this...it seems like the conversation a lot of them had when rob and kristen were cast...also...that is the exact spot where they filmed a scene from the movie....i was there when they shot it...(and yes, unlike the TwilightMoms I actually had permission to be there). It was a hard spot to get to..even more so know that the gorge is turning it into a pubic park....so it would have been impossible to drive bella's truck to the location.
