After six weeks of interviews, we’d like to honor some of our favorite moments.

Best nicknames from candidates we didn’t endorse:

James Leuenberger, Constitution Party candidate for attorney general: “Corporate Jimmy.” (Law school classmates hung the moniker on him because he worked in banking for five years before law school.)

Michael Meo, Pacific Green Party candidate in the Third Congressional District: “Meonaise”

Michele Eberle, Democratic candidate for Oregon House District 37: “Slugface” and “Wormy”

Rick Dancer, Republican candidate for secretary of state: “Tap, Fan and Bubble.”

Best real name: Tim Birr…retired Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue official, who came in to speak against Measure 63.

Most Palinesque character: Republican candidate for 3rd Congressional District Delia Lopez, a fading beauty who married at 15 and now owns 14 houses.

Best genes: Aspiring actress Tiara Lanai, daughter of Delia Lopez, has a promising modeling career in West Hollywood. To wit:

TIARA LANAI

Don’t invite these two guys to the same barbecue: Bill Sizemore and Tom Chamberlain. In their endorsement interview on Measure 64, these two came as close as any two people we’ve had in to making us believe a brawl was going to break out. (Go to wweek.com to see the venom between the pro-64 Sizemore and anti-64 Chamberlain.)

Candidate best suited to referee that brawl: Matt “The Law” Lindland, the Republican hopeful in House District 52 and mixed-martial-arts fighter.

CHARLES “BRUISER” LEWIS
Runner-up in the referee department: City Council candidate Charles Lewis, whose nickname was “Bruiser” when he played football at Bartlett High in Alaska.

The Rod Beck award: Named for the late baseball reliever who lived in his trailer behind a minor league park on the downhill side of his career, this award goes to Rep. Chuck Riley (D-Hillsboro), who lives in his RV during the legislative session.

I have much better picures of Tiara. I'd have sent you her most recent headshot if you'd asked! I also have shots of her as a vulcun fron Star Trek Next Generation. On real matters with the campaign almost over I hope everyone already voted for me, instead of Mr. more government. This is a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrYwDM38X-4 of the MAX event when "white woman" was attacked in June her statement to police included her being thown on the floor sat on and punched. Watch the video. The "victim" is the woman in the black jacket with white stripes down the sleeves. John Copic is the prosecuter and he had this video the entire time and was after 70 months in jail for the 15 yr. old attacker. She is the one that attempts to sit by the "victim", watch and see her get pushed and kicked, and the "victim" grab her purse, spilling it's contents. Help me get this out please.
