in a perverse parody of the Korean taco phenomenon
The corporate food truck is not, I'm sad to say, unique to Taco Bell: Dairy Queen has just announced its Blizzard mobile will be handing out free "mini Blizzards" in Portland July 15-16.

This summer Dairy Queen has unveiled a custom-designed Blizzard mobile that has been touring the nation, and it's coming to Portland July 15 and 16! The Blizzard mobile is a high energy mobile party that will hand out free mini Blizzards and offer activities, games, music and a chance to win prizes, all while raising awareness and funds for Children's Miracle Network and celebrating the 25th birthday of the Blizzard.
The Blizzard mobile will make three stops in Portland:
July 15th – Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Times TBD (tentatively 12:00P – 2:00P).
July 15th – local Dairy Queen store voted on by Portland area Blizzard Fan Club members. Store location and times TBD (tentatively 4:00P – 6:00P).
July 16th – Portland Beaver's baseball game at PGE Park. Times TBD (tentatively 5:00P – 7:00P).
