You Can't Spell ZooLights Without 'Zool'

No, that's not Baphomet gated in from the iciest depths of Hell to devour the souls of schoolchildren, but Metro Councilor Robert Liberty in his role as Rock E. Goat at the Oregon ZooLights festival.

On Dec. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., Liberty will reprise his role. Also be on the lookout for Buddy Beaver, Honey Bear, Eliza Elephant, Lulu Lemur, Nate the Eagle, Sandy Sea Ottter, Titus the Tiger and some reindeer with a red schnoz.

Just like you can't spell manslaughter without 'laughter,' you can't spell you can't spell ZooLights without 'Zool.' So, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind our readers of the difference between Zool and Zuul.

Zool was a classic British video game from the early 1990s featuring a "ninja from the Nth dimension."
