Laura Veirs' Daytrotter Session

Daytrotter has put up a four-track session with local songstress and new mother Laura Veirs, featuring songs from her latest album, the gorgeous July Flame.

Veirs has been out of action for the past few months, taking time off to give birth to her new son with partner (and producer) Tucker Martine. These beautifully pared-back tracks—recorded in March this year, when she was still eight-and-a-half months pregnant—should tide fans of her bittersweet folk melodies over until she returns to the stage in August for a European tour, before appearing at Musicfest NW and Bumbershoot.
