LEAK: Hurtbird, "The Bike Song," Nature Vs. City

What can compare with the thrill of a brand new bike? Hurtbird's latest offering poses the question. Well, just don't underestimate the brake power and hurtle over the handlebars, spilling blood everywhere, my hapless buddy chimes in.

Nevertheless, new bikes are way fun and exciting, much like this new track from Portland's indie-hip-hoppers, Hurtbird. With sunshiney funk and ticking percussion, the track grooves along with Ryan and Brian's lyrical deliveries. All the better for its Avalanches-esque antique samples, this pop tune is a shining addition to Hurtbird's library (you may have heard the band on the Portland Cello Project's debut disc).

Perfectly timed to get us all hitting the pedals for a sun-drenched weekend. We like, this song, it's fast.
