Cosmos Corbin Mashes Up Portland

I know, I know. The mash-up is so 2004. But Portland mash-ups? Totally 2006. And mash-ups by Cosmos Corbin? Well, as you can hear for yourself at his MySpace, this guy's marriages of Portland indie rock hits and Top 40 R&B hits are timeless. Up on his page right now are mash-ups of Elliott Smith and Kelis, the Gossip and Spank Rock, the Blow and Usher, and Nice Nice and Ciara. The mixes, especially the partnering of Usher's ubermasculine "Yeah!" and the Blow's cooing "Hey Boy" is just perfect. And it looks like Corbin's not content with just those songs. Currently, the man is looking for the perfect song to mash with Ol' Dirty Bastard.

So, give a listen here and then help him out. And, while you're at it, tell us who you think would be a good match for ODB. I'm thinking the Snuggle Ups.
