We've been
tracking Democratic opposition all week in the U.S. House to President Obama's tax deal with Republicans, and the
mounting opposition to it from within his own party in
Oregon's congressional delegation and elsewhere.
Turns out today that U.S. Rep.
Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) was happy to be the
point man leading the opposition among House Democrats in what appears to be their
new up-the-ante challenge to the White House.
