USS Ingraham
Well it’s that time of year again. Fleet week is here, and you know what that means. A surge of sailors will flood our bars and strip clubs, and turn. Bridges will have to be raised as the ships navigate to their resting spots at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. According to Multnomah County, the ships will be arriving today and Thursday and will last between 7 and 9 am and 3 and 5 pm Just in time for both your morning and afternoon commute. The Broadway, Steel, Burnside and Morrison bridges will be affected. No ships will be stationed south of the Hawthorne Bridge.

Also note that the USS Shoup will not be a part of the festivities as it can no longer fit underneath the Steel Bridge at current water levels. The Navy has replaced it with a smaller frigate, the USS Ingraham.
