CD1: Who Would the Candidates Support if They Couldn't Vote for Themselves?

Brad Avakian

On Tuesday night, the three main Democratic candidates in the Nov. 8 1st Congressional District special election will face each other in their first televised debate—unless there's a last minute cancellation, as there was last week for a scheduled debate on KPTV Fox 12.

The three Democrats—Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, state Sen. Suzanne Bonamici (D-Beaverton) and State Rep. Brad Witt (D-Clatskanie)—will be making at least their tenth joint appearance when they line up for the KGW (Channel 8) cameras tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

All that time together means they know each other pretty well. So when the candidates visited WW recently for a joint endorsement interview, we asked them who they'd vote for if they couldn't pick themselves.
