Several interesting applications this week:
The speedy team of Daniel Roy, Justin Akins and Kenny Hill have already applied to reopen the just-shuttered
Guild Public House, this time with a full liquor license, live music and coin-operated games. Let's hope they have better luck than
the previous tenant.
Pok Pok's Andy Ricker has filed a permit application for his
new restaurant in the former Kappaya space.
Maya Kleber Rose and Daniel Matt have applied to open a tiny (15-seat) beer and wine bar called
Lowell at 819 N Russell St.
Brilliant person Guo Zhi Chen has applied to open
Kung Food Restaurant in the former Ying Ying building at 8071 N Lombard St.
Roger Bachelor has applied for a brewery license for
Lunchbox Brewing in a house at 6711 N Amherst St.
The
Cracker Box Tavern, way up there on Northeast Columbia Boulevard,
is under new ownership.
Roosters, a strip club also on North Columbia, has applied to add liquor to its current beer lineup.
