Dr. Bronner's Soap Pumps $100k Into Anti-GMO Measure

A ballot measure aimed at the November ballot that would require greater labeling of genetically-modified foods has disclosed up its first major financial support, a $100,000 check from the Dr. Bronner's soap company.

Bronner's was a major contributor last year in Washington last year, ponying up more than $1.8 million in an election that saw voters defeat a GMO labeling bill.

That contribution brings to $112,000 the amount the campaign has raised so far.
