Made in Oregon, For Real: White Stag Block Talk

You might still be hung up on the fate of the much-harangued Made in Oregon sign, but the fine folks at the White Stag building (aka the University of Oregon's Portland campus) are so over it. Today's White Stag Block Talk keeps its head out of the clouds and the Portland skyline to focus on the tangible stuff: "Buidling a Collaborative City" is the name, and networking design and communication leaders its game. From the website:
Portland's smaller scale makes it both imperative and possible to finesse big things from many small parts. At every level—between institutions; between professions; between people—we build our best work here through collaboration, because we have to.

The panel will be composed of artist, dancer and organizer Linda K. Johnson; designer, architect and developer Kevin Cavenaugh; and author, editor and publisher Randy Gragg. Free beer, wine and food will be provided, as well as the discovery that UO Portland hosts more than just that doggone sign.

70 NW Couch St. 6 pm. Free and open to the public.
