Sweet on Wheels: Icicle Tricycles

As if you needed another reason to welcome summer, Cascadia Pedicabs is rolling out their fleet of frozen treats on trikes. Instead of offering transportation, the pedal-powered freezers bring you natural fruit bars (made fresh locally), and old favorites such as Chaco Tacos and Bubble Gum Swirl—all designed to cool you off and brighten your day.

The lively pedalers of the ten-strong Icicle Tricycle fleet bring jingling bells and music to all the neighborhoods of Portland, in a way that is much less creepy than the busted-looking ice cream trucks still sulking the streets.
